When AI becomes more prevalent, none of us will have a job, according to Elon Musk, who made this claim at a startup and innovation event in Paris.

According to CNN, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) will someday replace all occupations, but he doesn’t think this is a terrible thing. During a startup and tech gathering in Paris on Thursday, Musk stated, “It’s likely that none of us will be employed.”
During his webcam speech at Viva Tech, Elon Musk hinted to a future in which occupations would become “optional.” He stated, “If you want to do a job that’s kinda like a hobby, you can do a job.” Musk continued, “But otherwise, AI and the robots will provide any goods and services that you want.”
